It just looks like you painted a new layer over a smudged or blurred photo and then started erasing away little by little to show the actual photograph... or at least that is what it looks like, especially the dark lines around the eyes and the under shading of the lips.. very odd.) However, I think the brows are painted.
Anyway, if I'm wrong, I apologize, and you've fooled an old artist here, who has an educated eye for these things.
So, congrats on originality.
sorry it looks that way but i really did paint it (using the photo as reference) but the whole thing is painted from scratch with the brushes. sorry it doesnt look right to you. but i really like your paintings they are far more original and better than me. i guess we all have different techniques but i admire your style alot. thanks for the comment anyway.
maybe the next tutorial i will use more screenshots in detail of the actual colours used and layed down, or maybe do a painting without a photo reference
Please don't apologize. I was congratulating you on such an original way of painting, and I was saying that is was so good, it looked like painting a photo... that is a good thing, ok?. Pat yourself on the back. You deserve it.
Keep up the great work!
aww thankyou so much i really appreciate it. i wish i could paint as good as you though, your are so fantasy like, whilst mine isnt that creative only resemblance to a photo whilst urs take alot of skill.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
